Shop my falllll decor!
Deck the hall with lots of FALL! Fall, Fall, Fall, Fall, Fallll, Fall-Fall, Fall, FALLLLL.
Decorating for different seasons has always been my thing. Especially since I have moved out and got my own place. I decorated for fall a little here and there in my dorm and sorority house room. But, once I started the apartment life I have always gone all out. I started out with nothing but have slowly grown my seasonal decorations. It helps that my style has pretty much stayed consistent so it’s easy to build upon it each year. If you haven’t seen my apartment without decorations, check out my home sweet apartment post here.
For fall, I like doing more of an orangey/ dark red color scheme with pumpkins and leaves. I have never been too into decorating for Halloween, I just like to keep it simple with something that will last all season long.

The first thing I like to decorate is my TV stand. I always start with a strand of fall leaves then I add in different pumpkins, scarecrow’s, etc. I like to keep it pretty simple but cute. Next up, I switch out the cacti on my coffee table for pumpkins and acorns. After that I keep working around the room adding more pumpkins and leaves.

I really like buying the leaves on the strands and then having some extra loose ones to throw around. A couple years back I also bought a pack of small acorns, pinecones and leaves! That pack just makes everything come to life. It is so easy to sprinkle them everywhere to complete every set. I also have bought a pumpkin blanket and pillow to add to the couch! They are so cute and festive and add such a unique touch. I also for the first year ever bought a fall wreath! I have always wanted one but I cannot stomach to pay $30+ on one. So I looked around a little this year and scored mine for under $20! it’s perfect for me and I know it last for the next two years at least!

Lastly, I love decorating part of my kitchen. I hate cluttering things up so I do not put anything on the counter – I just add cute fall hand towels to the oven door! I also always change up the displays on my bar and kitchen table. Instead of summer candles I add fall candle and pumpkins! Not to mention some fall colored flowers to pull the whole room together. One thing different this year is I have a coffee bar! I added a couple pumpkins and leaves to that and called it a day.

Everything I buy is inexpensive, I do not go out and spend a ton of money. But, I make sure to look for quality pieces that will last me for the next couple years to come! If you are decorating for the first time, start small! Do not feel like you have to go all out and buy everything this year. Just start with a key piece in your living room such a a mantel or TV stand and go from there.
