*Champagne Now Resolutions Later??? Nope, more like resolutions now & champagne February 1st after the Whole30 LOL. (Click here to shop this look.)*
Christmas has come and gone and now the new year is upon us. With the new year comes new resolutions and promises to ourselves that we will do better in the upcoming year. We also promise ourselves we will actually stick to the promises all year long. Last year I made a resolution to do the Whole30 the month of January and guess what!?!? I did the whole thirty days all the way through without cheating! I actually made it about 40ish day hehe I just didn’t want to stop, I actually loved it so much.
I loved it so much because of the way I felt. The Whole30 preaches a lot about the “non-scale victories” because it is supposed to be so much more than to just lose weight. After getting past the first four days I knew I could make it the whole month. I didn’t need coffee anymore. I had so much natural energy and I even worked out every single day after the first week.
4. La Croix & Hint water save lives! Be prepared to drink a lot of water on the Whole30. To break it up I let myself drink one La Croix or Hint water a day! All the flavors are Whole30 approved and they are a great way to add flavor to your day. *I never let myself drink fruit juices on the Whole30… even though all natural fruit juices are allowed, they still taste like pure sugar to me and I didn’t want my body to need them*
10. The Whole30 Fast & Easy cook book is gold!!! This cookbook is new this year… last year I bought the original cookbook and it was horrible and a waste of money. I literally did not make one single recipe out of it. The Whole30 book has a ton of amazing recipes in it already! So if you don’t want to spend anymore money you will still have some good recipes! But, if you do have a couple extra Christmas dollars laying around I suggest the new Whole30 Fast & Easy cookbook and the new Whole30 Day by Day book.
I really hope you found a couple of these tips helpful! If you’d want to see a couple of my favorite recipes let me know and I’d love to share them with you in another blog post! If you don’t think you can do the Whole30 I promise you can! The first couple of days might be hard but once you get past them the rest of time is a piece of cake LOL (wish we could have cake haha)! It won’t be easy when a friend asks you out for dinner but I promise not cheating and keeping with it will be worth it. YOU GOT THIS. I believe in you and so does everyone else. Let’s kick butt in the month of January!
