I can literally say I thought yesterday was day five of the
Whole30. Where did the time go?? I have no idea. Y’all are probably so tired of
hearing me talk about it by now, so I promise the Whole30 talk will slow way
down after this post! I wanted to do this post a little different than normal… I
asked y’all to ask me questions so bellow is the questions and my answers!

How was your Whole30 experience different this time from
last time?
last time?
I definitely think I was more prepared food wise last time.
Before I started I had the first two weeks of meals planned out. I also had already gone grocery shopping and had everything on hand for all those meals. This time I bought stuff as I needed it every couple days and then
prepared that meal. There wasn’t too much bulk meal prepping this time around.

But this time I was way more mentally prepared for “the game”.
I know now that all pain and cravings are temporary. I really wanted to stick
by the rule of three meals a day and a snack when I workout and I did just
that. I learned a lot on how to listened to my body this time. I listened to see
if I was actually hungry or if I just needed water or I was just bored and
wanted a snack.

Are you going to continue on the Whole30?
No… I already have reservations tonight with all my girlfriends at
Chuy’s😂
Chuy’s😂
(last time I stayed on the Whole30 for 39 days
but this time I’m extremely ready to live my food freedom life and have some
Tex-Mex back in my diet.)

How much weight did you lose?
I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again! The Whole30 is not a
diet! To me it was getting my life back on track after all those holiday
goodies I indulged way too much in! I wanted to get back on track and work out
again because that’s what makes my body feel the best! I did however lose 11.2
pounds. Yes, I know that is a significant amount of weight and I am in pure
shock! Last time I did lose 7 pounds but I did not workout nearly as much as
I worked out this month! This month along with doing the BBG I went to
countless SoulCycle classes and ran so much on the elliptical and on the
track!

Per my Apple Watch stats:
I did 26 workouts totaling almost 20 hours. Making it about 44
minutes a workout. For the total month in workouts I burned almost 10,000
calories. On top of my regularly hectic life running after kids and across
campus! So needless to say I put in work!

What are you going to eat now that it’s over?
Oreo’s & Chuy’s hahaha. But in all seriousness I really want to
keep my diet almost the same!! I am looking forward to adding rice and oatmeal
back into my diet. I literally hate eggs. I make myself eat them every morning
so I’m excited to switch it up now! I have also always been a big rice fan and I love my rice cooker so I’m totally stoked to have it back in my life!

Will you do the Whole30 again?
I
don’t see myself doing it anytime soon! Maybe next January for another reset!
Right now I’m super excited to start my food freedom life! I want to maintain
eating healthy and working out but I also want to grab a drink and dinner with
my friends every once in a while!
